WHEN LIMITED ACCESS PROVIDES A CHALLENGE
ONE OF OUR HARDEST JOBS!
With this yard we had no machine access to dig out and replace the clay which was harder than concrete!
This entailed 3-4 hours on the rotary hoe & shovelling out the rock hard clay. We bought in 1 tonnes of gypsum & 4 tonnes of mixed loams, added 2 x 20 kg of Nuterog sea-mungus, 40kg of water saving crystals and rotary hoed again. It turned the none useable soils into beautiful fresh loams ready to go for the 100m2 Tiff Tuff Turf.
Our irrigation was a 2 x zones MP rotars on a dual timer.
What a huge effort and a total turn around of this yard!
